Recruiting 101: Why You Should Be Contacting Assistant Coaches

Every high school player dreams of that golden message from a university coach saying, “We’ve been watching your film. We want you.”

So they head to Twitter or Instagram, look up a school, and fire off a message to the head coach.

Here’s the problem. They just skipped the entire recruiting chain of command.
