Recruiting 101: Why younger players should go to camps sooner rather than later

There’s a myth in high school football that you should wait until your varsity years to attend your first combine. You know, show up once you’ve “filled out,” shaved a few tenths off your 40, and are ready to dominate.

Bad advice.

If you’re serious about getting to the next level, the best time to start is now, especially if you’re younger, undersized, and raw.

Here’s why.
