It has been a busy week for CFC ranked commits with eight of them choosing their future schools over the past week. Here is your weekly recruiting wrap-up.
Alberta
CFC100 Logan Weidner
Logan Weidner, a tight end from Carson Graham Secondary School, says that the most appealing thing about the Golden Bears is everyoneβs attitude. βThe staff and players were all focused on getting better to soon become Vanier Cup champions,β he adds.
βThe entire coaching staff was extremely friend and kind. Head coach Morris was more than happy to meet with my mom and I while on my visit. It was such a pleasure to be around them.β
Hailing from North Vancouver, BC, Weidner says he also chose Alberta because of the great opportunity being presented. Weidner, who is 6β5β, 240lbs, was his high schoolβs junior βathlete of the yearβ in 2018 and an all-star in 2019. He spent three years playing with the Carson Graham Eagles (BCSSFA).

CFC100 Jason Soriano
Wide receiver Jason Soriano played with the Vancouver College Fighting Irish (BCSSFA) in high school. He was named as the 2019 BCSSFA AAA MVP. He is from Vancouver, BC.

CFC100 Cody McMahon
Cody McMahon, a defensive lineman from Mission Secondary School, is heading across the provincial border to join the Dinos. Standing at 6β4β, 220lbs, he participated in the inaugural CFC Prospect Game. He was named as the βlineman of the game.β
Guelph
CFC60 Jeremie Kankolongo
Running back Jeremie Kankolongo is from Maple Ridge, BC, however he played football with the Champlain College Lennoxville Cougars (RSEQ Division I). He is 6β0β, 210lbs.

Devynn Cromwell played as a defensive back with Football North Clarkson. Before that, he played at Northern Secondary School in his hometown of Toronto, Ontario.

CFC100 Victor Olaniran
Victor Olaniran calls Winnipeg, Manitoba home where he played as an offensive lineman with the Vincent Massey Trojans (WHSFL). The 6β4β, 285lbs lineman also participated in the inaugural CFC Prospect Game.

Mike Martyniuk attends Assumption College in his hometown of Brantford, Ontario. The 6β3β, 225lbs offensive lineman has also played with the Brantford Bisons (OFC). He is a participation of the Fox 40 Prospect Challenge.

CFC100 Justin Gec
Justin Gec is originally from Burlington, Ontario. The defensive lineman is current in Erie, Pennsylvania where he played at Mercyhurst Prep High School. He is 6β2β, 255lbs and has played as a middle linebacker, defensive end and a defensive tackle.
