Recruiting Wrap-Up: Eight ranked commits going to U Sports

It has been a busy week for CFC ranked commits with eight of them choosing their future schools over the past week. Here is your weekly recruiting wrap-up.

CFC100 Logan Weidner

Logan Weidner, a tight end from Carson Graham Secondary School, says that the most appealing thing about the Golden Bears is everyone’s attitude. “The staff and players were all focused on getting better to soon become Vanier Cup champions,” he adds.

“The entire coaching staff was extremely friend and kind. Head coach Morris was more than happy to meet with my mom and I while on my visit. It was such a pleasure to be around them.”

Hailing from North Vancouver, BC, Weidner says he also chose Alberta because of the great opportunity being presented. Weidner, who is 6’5”, 240lbs, was his high school’s junior ‘athlete of the year’ in 2018 and an all-star in 2019. He spent three years playing with the Carson Graham Eagles (BCSSFA).
