CFC TOP 100 wide receiver joins RSEQ team’s 2014 class.
A RSEQ team has nabbed a CFC TOP 100 wide receiver.
Simon Gingras-Gagnon recently committed to the McGill Redmen for the 2014 season. While academics played a role in the 6’0, 195 pound offensive standout from Quebec City, Quebec decision, another reason was Redmen Offensive Coordinator Pat Boies.
“I chose McGill because I wanted to go to an English school as I wanted to improve my English skills,” explained Gingras-Gagnon of his decision. “There is also the fact that it is one of the greatest university in Canada.”
As for the football program, the fact that I have previously played in Pat Boies’ offense influenced my decision. I also hope to play as soon as possible.”
Gingras-Gagnon completed his CEGEP Division 1 career with the FX-Garneau Elans. Previous to the Elans, the CFC TOP 100 wide receiver played high school football for RSEQ Juvenile Division 1 team, Saint-Jean Eudes Condors.
