Head coach Peter Chryssomalis has announced that Rob Aboud, (seen at left) the quarterback coach has been named Offensive Coordinator for the upcoming football season. Ron joined the Vanier College coaching staff back in 2005 and has been the quarterback coach for the last six years.
Under his wing here at Vanier were developed four high quality quarterbacks such as Marc-Olivier Brouillette, league all-star (Université de Montréal), Liam Mahoney, league all-star (Concordia University), Myles Gibbon, league MVP in 2008 (University of South Alabama), and Jérémi Roch, League MVP in 2009, 2010 (Université de Sherbrooke).
Ron was a member of the coaching staff for the Bol d’Or win of 2006 and 2007 as well as for this year’s Bol d’Or win.
The Vanier coaching staff also received coaches of the year for 2006, 2007 and 2010 as well.
