Saint-Georges kicker newest recruit to join RSEQ team’s 2015 class.
Dominic Levesque was seeking the best academic and gridiron opportunity possible.
Consequently, the 6’2, 223 pound kicker from Saint-Georges, Quebec has signed with the Laval Rouge et Or. Levesque will join the team for the 2015 RSEQ season.
“The reason why I committed to Laval is I checked all the aspect of the teams I wanted to go and Laval is where I have a chance to play next year,” explained Levesque of his decision. “I also chose Laval because of the school!”
The Quebec kicker recently completed a stint in CEGEP with Division 1 team, Champlain-Lennoxville Cougars. This past season, Levesque was successful on 15 of 18 field goal attempts. Additionally, he averaged 36.4 yards on punts and 55.6 yards on kickoffs. With Boris Bede completing his final year of eligibility, it is expected that Levesque will be the heir apparent to the starting kicker position.
