ONT (Guelph District 10): CFC # 44 Royals crowned kings

The CFC # 44Ā John FĀ Ross Royals put up 27 unanswered points to claim their third straight district 10 championship on Friday night by a score of 33-7.

In the District 10 action last Friday night, the two league powerhouses met under the lights of Alumni Stadium to decide the winner of the 2013 District 10 championship. After CFC TOP 100 Nick Parisotto returned an interception for a touchdown, the Crusaders enjoyed a 7-6 lead heading into half time. However, the second half proved to be a different story as the Royals took over, scoring 27 straight point to claim their third straight title and the fourth in the last five years. The Royals’ Will Rannachan was instrumental in the win playing both offense and defense, scoring multiple touchdowns while posting an interception on defense.

The Royals will now continue their season, playing the winner of the Waterloo County champion in a match on November 17th.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
