Laval, Montreal lead the way: 2016 RSEQ (Quebec) 27 member All-Star team

Montreal, Friday, November 4, 2016 – As the dust settles on the 2016 regular season, the RSEQ (Réseau du sport étudiant du Québec) unveiled the composition of its 2016 University Football All-Star Team. The selection was based on the votes from the league’s commissioner and coaches. Individual award winners will be announced on Friday, November 11, on the eve of the Dunsmore Cup final. The press conference is set for 11 a.m. on the campus of the RSEQ University Football final’s host university.

The Dunsmore Cup semifinals are scheduled for Saturday, November 5 with a 2 p.m. ET kickoff. The Concordia Stingers will visit the Laval Rouge et Or while the Montreal Carabins will host the McGill University Redmen. This latter contest will be a live broadcast on TVA Sports.

The two winning teams will face each other in the Dunsmore Cup final, on Saturday, November 12 at 2 p.m. ET on the field of the team who had the best standing at the end of the regular season.
