The evaluation committee of RSEQ juvenile school football Division 1 met on February 8th to identify the teams that will be part of Divisions 1 and 1b for the 2013 season. The committee met with the schools involved in the process and came to two key decisions.
Division 1 is set to welcome two new teams next season. The two new teams are the Estacades Academy and the Triolet Harfangs. Both teams were previously in Division 1B.
For their part, the Eagles School of Friendship and the Centurions Polyvalente Deux-Montagnes asked to join the ranks of the Division 1B. Finally, the Armand-Corbeil Scorpions are allowed to compete in Division 1b for the 2013 season.
The official school football schedules will be announced in April 2013.
