Highlights : Laval running back Sébastien Lévesque is the RSEQ university football offensive player of the week after leading his side to its 18th straight victory, a 37-4 win over the Concordia Stingers. The Brossard, Que. native rushed for 192-yards on 26 carries and one touchdown in the win. Lévesque put the game away on Laval’s opening possession of the second half where he racked up all of the team’s 33-yards on the three play drive including a one-yard touchdown plunge to give the Rouge et Or a 22-4 advantage.

The third year general arts student picked up his first career interception as a member of the Rouge et Or and returned the pick 19-yards to the house to give Laval a lead that they would not surrender. The Montreal native finished the game with three solo tackles and a pair of quarterback sacks in the contest for 14-yards in losses. Number 45 is tied for the most sacks in the RSEQ this season with six (five solo, two assisted).

Highlights : Raphaël Gagné is the RSEQ special teams player of the week after returning the opening kick-off of the second half a school record 104-yards for his first touchdown of the season as the Sherbrooke Vert & Or rallied from a 7-3 half-time deficit to top the Montreal Carabins 20-11. The native of Ste.-Jeanne-d’Arc, Que. finished the game with 136 yards on a pair of kick returns and added 18 more on a trio of punt returns. With the win, the Vert & Or moved into sole possession of second place in the RSEQ university football league.
