Samuel Giguere signs 2-year contract with New York Giants


University of Sherbrooke grad Samuel Giguere signed a 2 year contract with the New York Football Giants on Monday. He was signed to the Giant practice squad on October 19th after being released by the Indianapolis Colts.

Giguere told RDS.ca “I’m really happy”…”The coaches were able to see my versatility.”

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats hold Giguere CFL rights. He is one of 5 Canadians in the NFL that hail from CIS schools. There are a total of 12 Canadians under contract with NFL teams.
