Saskatchewan lineman looks to carry on Rams reputation

Watrous lineman joins CWUAA team’s 2015 class.

Familiarity played a key role in Liam Jensen’s decision of where he wanted to continue his gridiron and academic career.

Recently, the 6’3, 300 pound offensive lineman from Watrous, Saskatchewan signed with the Regina Rams.  Jensen will join the team for the 2015 CWUAA season.

“I wanted to come to Regina because of some of the coaches that I already knew there like Sheldon Nield and Dwayne Mason as well as having an excellent education program; education being the faculty I was planning on going into,” explained Jensen of his decision.  “Also, Regina is close to home so family is never far away.”

“They have also produced offensive linemen like Brendan LaBatte and Brett Jones.”

Jensen recently completed his high school career with Winston Wildcats.  This past season, the Wildcats achieved an undefeated 9-0 record en route to their third consecutive Saskatchewan 6-Man Provincial Championship.
