Saskatchewan names 4 recruits to the Huskies

Lane Novak (6’2, 200 lbs) ā€” Linebacker from Greenall High School (Balgonie, SK)

Novak is the third most-recent commit to the Huskies for 2020. The 6’2 and 200 pound Saskatchewan product will be a valued addition to an already deep recruiting class.

Dennis Berhane (5’10, 150 lbs) ā€” Defensive Back from St. Joseph (Saskatoon, SK)

Despite measuring in at 5’10 and 150 lbs, Berhane uses his speed and defensive instincts to his advantage as a defensive back. Berhane has the makings of a strong recipe for success.

Jayden Engel (6’0, 187 lbs) ā€” Linebacker from Vincent Massey (Brandon, MB)

Engel is an out-of-province signing from Brandon, MB., and will join Novak in the Huskies’ deep core of linebacking recruits. In addition to Seth Hundeby and Novak, Saskatchewan will have plenty of youth joining the ranks of their defence.

Alexander Leggett (6’3, 210 lbs) ā€” Linebacker from Holy Trinity Academy (Oktoks, AB)

Saskatchewan is getting another versatile player in Leggett, who can play multiple defensive positions. The product from Alberta excels as a linebacker and at defensive back.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
