Scarborough Thunder teams progress in playoffs

Congrats to the Scarborough Thunder Peewee(U-15), Jr.Varsity(U-17) and Sr.Varsity(U-20) teams. The Peewees are one win away from the championship game after their dominant 39-6 win in the Peewee Eastern Division Sem-Final Conference game last weekend over cross-town rival Metro Toronto Wildcats. They are travelling to Ottawa this Saturday to play the Ottawa Myers Riders Peewee team in the OVFL Eastern Peewee Conference Championship game, bring it home boys.

The Jr.Varsity team is also one win away from the championship game after their dominant 40-24 win in the Jr.Varsity Eastern Division Sem-Final Conference game last weekend over Ottawa Myers Riders in Ottawa. This weekend, the Thunder Jr.Varsity team goes up against the Brampton Bulldogs Jr.Varsity team in the OVFL Eastern Jr.Varsity Conference Championship game this Sunday at the Rogers Center. Kick-Off time is 10:00am. If you can make it out to the game, it would be greatly appreciated, wear something purple, the boys sure can use your support. Call ticket master for ticket information.

The Sr.Varsity team, which are the defending OVFL Varsity champions, had an amazing regular season, finishing 8-0 and was number 1 ranked in the league. However, they lost a heart breaker to the Etobicoe Eagles on Sunday in the Sr.Varsity Eastern Conference Division Sem-Final game, which ended their season. For all you boys who played your last game with Thunder, good look in University and with whatever you chose to do in life in the future, donā€™t forget to come back later on and give back, by help coaching or helping out the organization in whatever way.
