SFU opponents offer ‘tough competition’

SFU adds an out-of-province commit to their 2019 class.

Jean Olivier Pitte, a running back from Harry Ainlay High School, is ready to taste American football after signing with the Simon Frasier Clan.

Pitte had many reasons for choosing SFU, some of which, he said, included the great academics and beautiful campus. The team also “plays tough competition around the United States and it’s not too far from home,” said the Edmonton, Alberta, product.

The 5’10, 165lbs athlete added that, “I really like the coaches. They’re really welcoming and helpful. Also, we’ve been talking for more than a year, so I feel comfortable with them.”

Pitte is interested in either health science or business. He spent three years with the Harry Ainlay Titans (MEHSFL). He helped his team win a provincial championship in 2017, however they came up short in the 2018 finals.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
