TORONTO — Willie Jefferson, Davon Coleman and Andrew Harris were named the Shaw CFL Top Performers of the Week for Week 17 of the CFL’s 2018 season.

DL | WILLIE JEFFERSON | SASKATCHEWAN ROUGHRIDERS
Defensive lineman Willie Jefferson was the difference-maker in Saskatchewan’s 19-12 Thanksgiving win over Edmonton.
Jefferson had five defensive tackles, including a sack. He also had a big interception in the final minutes that gave the Roughriders the points they needed to come out on top.
In the last few seconds of the second quarter, Jefferson latched on to Mike Reilly to bring him down for a sack and a loss of five yards.
His interception came in the final frame as Jefferson used his height to his advantage, grabbing a Mike Reilly pass out of the air and returning it 49 yards for a touchdown to give Saskatchewan the lead with just minutes to go.
Jefferson has 31 defensive tackles, a career-high nine sacks and two interceptions.
DT | DAVON COLEMAN | BC LIONS
Defensive tackle Davon Coleman helped the BC Lions to a close 26-23 win over the Toronto Argonauts on Saturday night in Vancouver.
Coleman had two interceptions in the contest, helping turn momentum in the Lions’ favour. He also registered three tackles, including a tackle for a loss.
Midway through the second quarter, the former Arizona State Sun Devil reached up to intercept a McLeod Bethel-Thompson pass attempt and give BC back the ball for a drive that would lead to a Ty Long field goal.
Coleman’s second interception came at the tail end of the same quarter as he halted a Toronto drive, holding onto the ball amid heavy pressure.
The Cleveland, Ohio native has a career-high 49 defensive tackles, seven sacks and two interceptions this year.
RB | ANDREW HARRIS | WINNIPEG BLUE BOMBERS
Andrew Harris put in the numbers to bring the Winnipeg Blue Bombers out on top on Friday night in Ottawa.
Harris racked up 132 rushing yards on 20 carries, as well as 31 receiving yards on three receptions.
The Winnipeg native’s biggest run of the night came in the third quarter, a 23-yard dash that followed a big 19-yard run a few plays earlier. Harris’ carries helped move kicker Justin Medlock into position for several field goals over the course of the game.
In the fourth quarter, Harris had a 21-yard play that propelled teammate Weston Dressler into position for a touchdown just two plays later. Harris also contributed four runs to a nine-play drive in the fourth frame.
Harris was previously named a Shaw CFL Top Performer in Week 6 as well as for the Month for July. He has a career-high 1,233 rushing yards and eight touchdowns on 212 carries. He also has 404 receiving yards and three touchdowns in the air on 51 receptions.
