Sherbrooke adds a Québec commit to their 2019 class.
Anthony Robichaud, a quarterback from Cégep Édouard-Montpetit, is ready to give the University of Sherbrooke his all.
“I chose the University of Sherbrooke because I love the challenge that presented itself to me,” he said. “The team is in a reconstruction process…in addition, there is an opportunity to make history here.”
Robichaud added that the coaches inspire confidence, which combined with his other feelings listed above, made his decision easy. He also said he had the impression that the team worked the hardest to sign him. “It is a young group that is determined to help young people like me and who is putting everything in place to win,” he said.
Robichaud, who is from Sainte-Julie, Québec, has played for three years with Les Lynx d’Édouard Montpetit (RSEQ Division 2). He was a regional champion in 2013, an all-star in 2015 and male athlete of the year in 2017. He is also a three-time offensive player of the year in 2013, 2015 and 2017. The 6’2, 220lbs athlete is interested in Administration.
