Sherbrooke recruit signs with Bishop’s

Sherbrooke wide receiver becomes newest recruit to join RSEQ team’s 2015 class.

It was the best decision Zachary Graveson made for himself when it came to the next chapter of his gridiron career and academic life.

Recently, the 5’9, 170 pound wide receiver from Sherbrooke, Quebec signed with the Bishop’s Gaiters for the 2015 RSEQ season.

β€œWanting to stay in Quebec and go to an English university, Bishop’s was the best choice for me,” expressed Graveson of his commitment.Β  β€œBecause Lennoxville is so isolated, there are limited distractions so I can really focus on football and school.”

β€œI was on the Coulter field all summer catching balls, running receiver drills with some of the Bishop’s players and the coaches saw me so they really knew me better than anyone else. I think Bishop’s is a great fit for me and being that they have many receivers graduating, I believe I can have a quick and effective impact on the team.”

The Quebec wide receiver will cap of his CEGEP Division 1 career this weekend as his team, Champlain-Lennoxville Cougars will vie for the Bol D’Or against Vieux-Montreal Spartiates. Previous to the Cougars, Graveson also suited up for the Seminaire de Sherbrooke Barons.
