For his part, Lamke felt had a special feeling when he took in his official visit to the Halifax, Nova Scotia campus.

“I chose Saint Mary’s university based on the reputation of the school,” elaborated the Ontario defensive back.  “The way the coaching staff cares about you and the way the team treated me while I was on my visit.”

“Coach Perry and the coaching staff treats you like a person rather than just a piece of meat that plays for them and that’s something I haven’t had in a long time. They care about you on a personal level and want you to be a student first and that’s really helped me make up my mind on my commitment. I’m excited and thankful for my opportunity to continue my education and playing the sport I’m so passionate about.”
