“I choose Saint Mary’s because when I went to the school on my visit the coaches and players were all so welcoming to me and really made me feel at home,” explained Barrett of his decision.  “The other guys on the team had a really winning attitude and you could tell they were passionate about football and really have a desire to be the best team is the CIS.”

“There was so much young talent when I was there that I knew there was great potential for the team. The Head Coach [Marchese] never pressured me into making a decision and was honest to me about their quarterback situation the whole time!  Also, the coach was always readily available if I had any questions. I feel like I will be able to learn a ton from the coaching staff as well as meet new people at Saint Mary’s.”
