- 2022 NFL/CFL Draft prospect CFC100 OLB Jesse Luketa saw his stock rise this past week at the Senior Bowl. The 6β3β, 260lbs OLB had a good week of one-on-ones, showing further growth as a pass-rusher since his move to that role this past season. He put it all together in the game, registering 2 sacks, including a strip-sack on top QB prospect Sam Howell. Look for Luketa to be an early Day 3 pick in the NFL Draft.
- The top ranked prospect from the Class of 2023 CFC Prospect Game CFC100 QB Drew Viotto has announced his early commitment to Eastern Michigan. The 6β4β, 215lbs prospect from Sault Ste. Marie held seven offers, including a couple Power 5 offers from Maryland and Syracuse before deciding on taking his talents to Ypsilanti. He will be returning to Walled Lake Western in Michigan next season to complete his high school career, and could always garner more attention down the road.Β
- The Buffalo Bills re-upped DT Eli Ankouβs contract for 2022. After signing Ankou midway through the season, the 6β3β, 325lbs defensive lineman made 10 tackles and a sack in 6 games, staying on the practice squad for the remainder of the year.
