  • 2022 NFL/CFL Draft prospect CFC100 OLB Jesse Luketa saw his stock rise this past week at the Senior Bowl. The 6’3”, 260lbs OLB had a good week of one-on-ones, showing further growth as a pass-rusher since his move to that role this past season. He put it all together in the game, registering 2 sacks, including a strip-sack on top QB prospect Sam Howell. Look for Luketa to be an early Day 3 pick in the NFL Draft.

U SPORTS/NCAA COMMITS

  • The top ranked prospect from the Class of 2023 CFC Prospect Game CFC100 QB Drew Viotto has announced his early commitment to Eastern Michigan. The 6’4”, 215lbs prospect from Sault Ste. Marie held seven offers, including a couple Power 5 offers from Maryland and Syracuse before deciding on taking his talents to Ypsilanti. He will be returning to Walled Lake Western in Michigan next season to complete his high school career, and could always garner more attention down the road.Β 

U SPORTS/NCAA CONSIDERATIONS

  • The Buffalo Bills re-upped DT Eli Ankou’s contract for 2022. After signing Ankou midway through the season, the 6’3”, 325lbs defensive lineman made 10 tackles and a sack in 6 games, staying on the practice squad for the remainder of the year.
