  • Penn State’s Canadian content had themselves a game on Saturday. CFC100 QB Christian Veilleux took over for a sick Sean Clifford mid-game and led the Nittany Lions to a convincing 28-0 win over Rutgers to the tune of 15/24 passing, 235 passing yards, 3 TDs, and 36 rushing yards; quite the debut for the true freshman. One of his TDs was a 67-yarder to CFC60 WR Malick Meiga for the first of his college career. CFC100 S Jonathan Sutherland also had his first career interception for the squad, along with 4 tackles. CFC100 WR John Metchie also had arguably his best game of the year for the Crimson Tide, helping them squeeze by Arkansas with 10 catches for 173 yards and a TD. Finally, Arkansas State CFC100 DB Melique Straker had his best game yet since transferring from Carleton, totalling 14 tackles, 2 TFLs, and a forced fumble against Georgia State.
