- With the Rams beating the Bengals in Super Bowl 56, three Canadians got their first Super Bowl rings. CFC40 OT Alaric Jackson, DT Mike Hoecht, and dual-citizen S Taylor Rapp (7 tackles) were all on the active roster Sunday night, but Taylor Rapp might have had an even bigger moment than the win itself that night, as he proposed to his girlfriend on the field following the game. Luckily for him, she said yes! Would have been a bit of a vibe killer otherwise …
- Class of 2023 CFC100 DL Devan Houstan hit the 20 offer mark with the addition of Illinois this past week. The 6’5”, 270lbs lineman holds offers from Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Penn State, Virginia Tech, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Wake Forest, Pitt, Maryland, Northwestern, Duke, Washington, Virginia, Kentucky, Rutgers, Central Michigan, UConn, and Illinois.
- Two class of 2024 players have developed some impressive early interest. These players are twins, defensive ends Tyclean Givens Luman and Tycoolhill Givens Luman. 6’4”, 240lbs Tyclean has offers from USF, Syracuse, and Indiana, while 6’4”, 235lbs Tycoolhill has offers from USF, Syracuse, and Ole Miss. Keep an eye out on these two for the next couple years of high school.
