  • CFC100 Class of 2022 top ranked prospect, DT Isaiah Hastings, picked up his two biggest offers to date over the past couple weeks from the two teams ironically ranked #1 and #2 in the country right now. The Alabama Crimson Tide and the Georgia Bulldogs are looking to join the sweepstakes for Hastings, while also pursuing a national championship this year.

  • In this past weekend of CFB action, the following defensive players had notable performances: West Virginia CFC40 S Alonzo Addae had 10 tackles and a sack in an upset win over #15 ranked Virginia Tech, Coastal Carolina CFC60 DB Enock Makonzo had 9 tackles in a win over Buffalo, and Penn State CFC100 OLB Jesse Luketa had 8 tackles and a TFL in an inter-conference win over Auburn.

  • There were also big-time performances on the offensive side of the ball: Pitt CFC100 WR Jared Wayne had 5 catches for 100 yards against Western Michigan, Tech CFC60 WR Samuel Emilus had 3 catches for 57 yards and a TD against SMU, and Hawaii CFC100 WR Nick Mardner had 5 catches for 97 yards against San Jose State. It’s also worth noting that Syracuse CFC100 WR Damien Alford caught his first pass of 2021 in grand fashion, with a 73 yard TD.

  • In week 2 NFL action, Rams S Taylor Rapp had 9 tackles and half a sack in a win over the Colts. Eagles LB Alex Singleton continued his consistent play en route to 11 tackles against the 49ers, while Steelers CFC100 WR Chase Claypool had 3 catches for 70 yards against the Raiders.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
