  • It’s been an absolutely crazy week with the 15 month-long NCAA recruiting dead period having come to a close, meaning camps are running again and players can take visits again. This has lead to offers pouring in this week for our CFC100s. Most notably, DE Isaiah Hastings received 12 FBS offers (15 total D1 offers now), WR Elic Ayomanor picked up offer #24 from Notre Dame, and CB Rhyland Kelly added 6 FBS offers (9 total D1 offers now). CFC60 OT Tyrone Webber also added Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, and TCU this week. This stuff’s not even all of it, so check the offers page on the website for more, as I’ve run out of room in this column.

NCAA OFFERS

  • Changing gears from the players’ side of the sport, many Canadians have made climbs up the ranks on the management side of the NFL in the past few weeks. Catherine Raiche became the highest-ranking female ever in football operations in the NFL in being promoted to Vice President of Football Operations for the Eagles. In addition, Curtis Rukavina was promoted to Assistant Director of Pro Scouting/Free Agency for the Bills, and Chris Rossetti was promoted to Assistant Director of Pro Scouting for the Dolphins.

NCAA COMMITS

  • We’ve covered some of the offers that were dished out this week already, but there’s been interesting action to match in the world of commitments. CFC60 WR Samuel Emilus, who’s been in the transfer portal since February, announced that he’ll be joining the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs. The 6’1”, 195lbs receiver joins them alongside their other new Canadian transfer, CFC100 OT Chris Fournier. CFC100 OL Darius Bell also committed to Maine this week, while CFC100 DB Jaylen Smith committed to North Texas.

NCAA CONSIDERATIONS

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
