Special reunion on tap for British Columbia recruit with Bisons (VIDEO)

Mission wide receiver/defensive back joins CWUAA team’s 2016 class

Arjay Shelley is leaving the West Coast for the Prairies to begin his CIS career.

Recently, the 6’4, 185 pound wide receiver/defensive back from Mission, British Columbia signed with the Manitoba Bisons.  Shelley will join the team for the 2016 CWUAA season.

Ultimately, there were several reasons why Shelley opted for the Bisons.

“I committed to Manitoba because the school and football program are both amazing; the facilities are among, if not, the best in CIS football,” explained Shelley of his decision.  “Coach [Brian] Dobie is a great coach he made my recruiting experience enjoyable and very informative.”

“I also chose Manitoba because it is in Canada West Division and lastly because I will be joining three former Mission Roadrunners (Jesse Walker, Tom and Matt Clarkson).”

Shelley completed a stint with Mission Roadrunners of the British Columbia High School Football Association (BCHSFA).
