Spring Camp Day 1

Spring camp has officially begun here at Ottawa, and just our luck after having 2 weeks of unbelievable weather, it turns cold and very windy for our first day. It feels great to get back outside and running around on that wide open field. Our team is looking good, and our newly appointed head coach has everything running great. We also finished a day of testing as well, and guys have shown a lot of improvement over the off season which is expected, but great to see. We have a lot of young talent on our team, and a lot of older talent (especially our receivers), however everyone thinks our o line is our weak point. They thought that last year as well despite the fact that we had the second most rushing yards in the country. We may not have 6″8 320 pound linemen across the board, but these guys are working their butt off and they play smart. Our offence is nothing without these guys, and I have high expectations for next season with no doubt in their abilities.
Now as I say this of course I also want to point out that their practice yesterday wasn’t the greatest they have ever had haha….
I’m just kidding, but day 2 is upon us here and the weather’s looking much better. Nothing better then playing football with your brothers on a great day. If only there was no 5 year eligibility rule…
