St.FX adds a Nova Scotia commit to their Class of 2018.

Jonathan Spilman, a receiver from Charles P. Allen High School, will be reuniting with a special, former teammate of his when he joins the Saint Francis Xavier X-Men.
āMy brother plays running back at StFX, and getting to play with him again was a major reason (why) I decided to commit,ā Spilman said. He added he also chose StFX because of the schoolās reputation and the fact itās a great school and team.
āThe coaching staff as been great. Theyāve been very helpful answering all my questions and I canāt wait to get to work with them,ā the future business student said.
Spilman, who is from Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia, didnāt begin his career until he was in grade 11. The 6ā2, 180lbs safety and receiver played with the Charles P. Allen Cheetahs (Nova Scotia Athletic Federation Football League). This past season, he was a NSAFFL 2nd-team all-star.
