Saint Mary’s Huskies head coach Steve Sumarah has announced 7 new recruits to the Huskie class of 2011. Included in the list is 3-time CJFL defensive player of the year Aram Eisho. Coach Sumarah has this to say about the class of 2011:
βThis yearβs recruiting has been based on two things athletes and need. We are excited by the direction we have taken with our recruits and believe we have brought in players who are going to be impact now and down the road for us. Getting back into the Quebec market has been an area where we really pushed hard for and getting Marvin Golding, Pat McLennan, Kayin Marchand-Wright and now Anthony Boutet and Jonathan Langa has been really exciting to our program. We felt we need speed on offense this year to help us get over the hump and getting Melvin Abankwah and Aaron Perez along with Dechaun Beals has done that. Kevin Wuthrich and Ray Hurrel get us back into our Edmonton Wildcat roots. Kevin will bring a ton of experience having been on the Eskimos practice roster for 2 years. Finally adding the 3 time defensive player of the year in the CJFL Aram Eisho has been a hue gain for us. He is a leader and impact player.β
