McGill University was informed this afternoon that a member of the Redmen Football team was charged and will be arraigned in Court tomorrow.
In line with the Universityās varsity athletics guidelines, effective immediately, this player is suspended from the football team pending resolution of his case by the Court.
The Office of the Deputy Provost (Student Life and Learning) will actively investigate the matter. In line with the values and policies of McGill University, we will take any and all measures that are deemed to be appropriate.
