Zachary Shalley, a wide receiver from Sheldon-Williams Collegiate, wonβt have far to go to reach his new team, the University of Regina Rams.
βStaying at home and playing football was a major part of it,β the product of Regina, Saskatchewan, said about his decision. βThe coaching staff has made me feel very welcome and Iβm looking forward to learning a lot from them.β
The 6β3, 205lbs three-year veteran was also impressed with the teamβs offensive scheme. He said the style of offense the team runs, along with the success they have running it, played a role in his commitment.
The future business student has played his entire career with the Sheldon-Williams Collegiate Spartan (Regina High Schools Athletic Association).
