The UBC T-Birds for the second straight season are putting together an impressive recruiting class. This announcements includes 2 Offensive Line prospects that were drawing attention down south.
The UBC Football team is pleased to announce the signings of:

Alex Bulcke β 6β2 265 OL. – Essex Ravens – Windsor Ontario (picture #61) – Bulcke will be a legitimate force on the T-Birds OL for years to come. βHe is one of the most aggressive and Athletic linemen that Iβve seen on film this year from anywhere in Canada and is a huge pick up for our OL.β – Recruiting coordinator Paul Orazietti. Bulckeβs brother played in the Orange Bowl in 2011 for Stanford University at DE and is projected to be an NFL draft pick in this yearβs NFL draft.
Mike Didomenico – 6β6 300 OL – Saddleback Junior College β Toronto, Ontario β Mike is a physically imposing man who comes to UBC after a year of polishing his skills south of the border at a Junior College. His late commitment to UBC was the result of interest from numerous Div. 1 schools in the US. In the end UBCβs academic reputation and the quality of commits in 2011 to UBC helped make the T-birds the right choice for Mike.
Ben Bahrami – 6β2 220 LB – Western University transfer/West Vancouver – 2007 BC high school defensive Player of the Year. We are hoping that Ben will flourish being back in BC and provide size and leadership to our solid LB core in 2011.

Riley Horvath – 6β2 220 DE β Catholic Central High School β Lethbridge, AB. – Riley was the defensive MVP on a team that was provincial champions at Tier II in Alberta. He is a tremendous athlete with really great football instincts. He will be very good given time to develop.
Tony Ganton – 6β5 270 DL/OL – Sands β Vancouver, BC. β Tony has great frame and tons of potential. He is a versatile player who can help up on either side of the ball. Tony is another local guy whose commitment to the program underscores a banner year for UBC in terms of local committed talent.

Ethan Sadowski – 6β4 215 DE – Seaquam β Delta, B.C. β Ethan is another lineman with a great frame and huge potential. He never quits on plays and has a great up-field motor. He has great natural strength and is tough to block.
Roberto Perrizolo – 6β2 320 DT – Notre Dame β Vancouver, B.C. β Played Team B.C. in 2010 and is the “immoveable object.” Roberto has the ability to contribute to UBCβs DL very early in his career. Roberto is another highly sought after local produce.
Noslan Jara – 6β4 210 DE – Notre Dame β Vancouver, B.C β Noslan is a multi-sport athlete who excels at Basketball as well as Football. He is a sleeper who could develop into a dominating pass rusher.
Arshi Dhaliwal – 6β2 275 DL/OL – Mission Secondary β Very tough football player and he has distinguished himself as one of the best players in the Valley.
Ross Hilliam – 6β1 180 WR STM β Vancouver, B.C. – Soft hands and good speed. Should be a good player over time and compliment the solid veteran core going into 2011.
Kehl Snyder – 6β1 190 DB – William Aberhart, Calgary, AB. β Kehl is a big athlete at DB who loves to hit. He is a great young player with all of the tools to be a great DB in years to come at UBC.
Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
