The Senior Men’s national team, preparing to represent Canada for the first time at the IFAF World Championships, had a ‘power practice’ in the morning on Wednesday. The team was given the afternoon off to heal up some wounds and tend to personal affairs.
The entire defense has looked outstanding, especially the secondary under the guidance of Pat Tracey. Projected starters at the corner positions, Sammy Okpro and Troy Adams, have performed admirable in practice. Potential starting safeties, both from Regina, are Byrce McCall and Joel Lipinski.
The team travels to Austria Saturday evening arriving early in the morning on Sunday. One practice is planned for Sunday and then a full week of practice leading up to their first game against France.
