Team Ontario officials announced their tryout schedule for the 2011 Football Canada Cup (Lethbridge, Alberta). The best 1994 & 1995 birth year players will be competing at the 17th annual national championship (click here for past winners – always found in right bottom box). With 1994 QB Will Finch (Burlington Stampeders / Nelson) & 1995 QB Christian Strong (Brampton Bulldogs / Notre Dame) the fortunes for the West team could be the best in years. Don’t count out the East team who could line up with 1994 QB Izvor Gnjidić (Etobicoke Eagles / Richview). With these QBs on the roster both teams will be a CFC medal favourite. 2011 Team Ontario East & West Tryout Schedule
Ontario Football Alliance announces the tryout dates for Team Ontario East and Team Ontario West for the 2011 U-18 Football Canada Cup held July 9 to 16 in Lethbridge Alberta. This year’s age group includes players born in 1994 or 1995 only.
Cost for the tryouts are $20 on-line, $30 at the field and are a onetime fee for all the tryouts. Full gear is required and all practices are on field turf. You can get more information and register at www.ontariofootballalliance.ca
