CEGEP running back joins RSEQ team’s 2014 class.

Vincent Pruneau will be reunited with Simon O’Dess once again.

The 5’11, 197 pound running back from Quebec City, Quebec recently signed with the Bishop’s Gaiters.  He will join the team for the 2014 RSEQ season.

Pruneau comes to the Gaiters after guiding the Limoilou Titans to the CEGEP Division 2 Championship this past season.  During 2013, the offensive standout amassed 1184 rushing yards and scored 15 touchdowns.

With his commitment, he will play alongside former Titans’ teammate, receiver O’Dess. Additionally, Titans defensive back David L’Heureux has also signed with the Gaiters.

“I am glad to go to Bishop University,” commented Pruneau of his commitment.  “It will be a great experience.”

“I am going to finish the school bilingual in business and I guess that is a great opportunity. But, more than that, I am happy to go to Bishop University because I think this place will give me all the tools to be a better football player. I want to win and to be on the field as quickly as possible. I will work hard every day to achieve these goals.  I am going there with Simon O’Dess and we are going to see again some people from Limoilou.”
