CEGEP slotback joins Vanier Cup Champions’ 2014 class.

Everything is “top notch”.

Consequently, Richard Rafter recently committed to Laval Rouge et Or for the 2014 RSEQ season. The 6’1, 190 pound slotback from Dorval, Quebec is excited to be part of the Vanier Cup Championship team.

“I chose Laval because I believe they are the best in the country at what they do,” expressed Rafter.  “Everything from the coaches to the facilities are top notch.”

“I was very impressed with the quality of education they provide. Also, I liked the idea of moving away from home and living on my own.”

The Quebec offensive threat joins the Rouge et Or after finishing his CEGEP career with Division 2 team, John Abbott Islanders.  In the 2013 season, Rafter amassed 337 yards and scored five touchdowns in only four games as he sustained a torn PCL which limited his action.
