Etobicoke, ON – In front of an enthusiastic crowd at Centennial Stadium, the Toronto Jr. TiCats defeated the Halton Hills Crimson Tide with 2 seconds remaining on the clock with a rouge punt from the 10 yard line. But unless you attended the game you would not appreciate the drama and great plays by both teams. Fast Forward to the 4th Quarter…and all the points scored.

4TH QUARTER HILITES:
– turnovers
– beginning of fourth quarter the TiCats made a big fourth down stand on their side of midfield
– after a big play by the TiCats they fumbled the football and was recovered by the Tide (10:53)
– Halton fumbled the ball and recovered by TiCats (6:26)
– Next play interception by the Tides’ #15 Ben Millar
– at 4:38 an errant shotgun snap by the Tide was recovered by #86, Jake Morgan, of the TiCats deep in Tide territory
– after a few negative plays the TiCats through into the endzone and PLAYER OF THE GAME #15 Ben Millar picked it off…but it was called back by an illegal contact call on the Tide
– #50, Clinton Leonard ran for a first down to the Tide 1 yard line with a minute remaining
– The Tide stopped the TiCats on three successive dive plays to Leonard
– 4th down with 2.3 seconds remaining the TiCats punted the ball, by #12 Justin Davis to win the game by the one to zero score
