TORONTO (Nov 21, 2020) – CanadaFootballChat.com (CFC) and TSN today announced the rosters of Canada’s emerging football stars with the 2nd edition of the CANADAFOOTBALLCHAT.COM PROSPECT GAME.

The 2nd edition of this annual event unfortunately will not take place on the field, however, the selection camps were completed in October and the roster announcement celebrates those players.

Last year was a landmark event with TSN’s exclusive broadcast of the CANADAFOOTBALLCHAT.COM PROSPECT GAME from TD Place Stadium in Ottawa, with play-by-play commentator Farhan Lalji delivering the call alongside game analyst Duane Forde.

CFL legends and CFL ON TSN panellists Henry Burris (Team Burris) and Matt Dunigan (Team Dunigan) served as head coaches for the game, with Team Burris emerging victorious in a great display of Canada’s top high school prospects.

“CFC is really excited to track these amazing athletes over the next few years. This year’s seven selection camps, which were rescheduled between June and October, saw some exceptional performances including the 40-yard speed of all the skill positions, especially the running backs.” said Lee Barette, CEO of the CANADAFOOTBALLCHAT.COM PROSPECT GAME and president of CanadaFootballChat.com. “Also, Coach Dunigan and Burris would have revelled working with all four quarterbacks who are outstanding. This talented group from year two really make us look forward to the selection camps and game in 2021 for year three.”

Forde added that these rosters represent an opportunity for Canadians to get familiar with the future headliners they might be watching on Saturdays, or even Sundays.

“The CFC Prospect Game is all about ‘opportunity’. It’s an opportunity for the top high school players in Canada to go head-to-head with their peers from across the country, and it’s an opportunity for Canadian football fans to get a look at the next Chase Claypool, Chuba Hubbard, or Nathan Rourke before the rest of the world gets to know who they are. This game is always a highlight on my football calendar.”
