KINGSTON, Ont. (October 25, 2010) – TVCOGECO Kingston announced on Tuesday that they will air the OUA quarter-final football playoff game between the Queen’s Gaels and McMaster Marauders on Saturday, October 30. The game is set for 1:00pm at Ron Joyce Stadium in Hamilton.
TVCOGECO will air Cable 14 Hamilton’s feed of the game live. Tune in to TVCOGECO on channel 13 local in Kingston.
Queen’s has a 2-1 all-time playoff record against McMaster including a 32-6 OUA semi-final wins in Kingston a year ago, a 25-19 quarterfinal win in Hamilton in 2006 and a 33-19 Yates Cup loss in Hamilton in 2002.
The last time the Gaels met, Queen’s dropped a 23-18 decision at McMaster during the season opener back on August 31[SUP]st[/SUP].
TVCOGECO will also broadcast the OUA Women’s Rugby Championship via tape delay. That game which sees Queen’s battle Guelph for the league championship is set for Saturday, October 30 at 12:00pm on Kingston Field. TVCOGECO will air the broadcast on Monday, November 1[SUP]st[/SUP] at 8:30pm.
