In his second season in Halifax, Coach Colzie has pieced together St. Mary’s best recruiting class since the Sumarah era. To date, the Huskies, have signed 25 recruits which include a number of large offensive linemen, three CFC100’s and four transfers. The Huskies also signed one of my favorite sleepers.
The type of athletes that usually end up at SMU are tough, hard nosed kids who either appreciate the school’s football history, really enjoy the city of Halifax itself which is truly a young person’s city, and/or were unable to get into their program of choice at other institutions and settled on St. Mary’s for the reasons above.
