The Saskatchewan Huskies for the first time in decades did not have legendary coach, Brian Towriss leading the program as he retired earlier this year. With his retirement, the Huskies began a national search for a new head coach. This search took quite some time and, obviously, to a certain extent, had an impact on recruiting as the Huskies were unable to start landing the same number of players that they have in the past.
