Jeremie began playing the sport at the age of seven with the Laval Nord Vikings.  He moved on to RSEQ Juvenile Division 1’s Cure-Antoine Labelle Wolves.

“My most memorable experience was my last season with the Loups because we won the Provincials and for the three years I was with the same teammates,” reflects the Quebec defensive back of his gridiron career.  “We never got the chance to win but this year it was also our senior year so it made it special.”

Among the honours he has received throughout his career include three Vikings MVP Awards, Wolves Most Improved Player and a RSEQ Juvenile Division 1 All-Star selection.

The Loups defensive back has credited a few individuals for providing encouragement and motivation which has enabled him to achieve all his gridiron and life goals.

“My main influences are my mother, my two best friends and in football, my head coach when I was a Viking,” expresses Jeremie, who trains four days a week with the Wolves squad.

While he has another year of high school left, Jeremie has already set out future gridiron goals for himself.

“My future plans or first to graduate and play in the CEGEP,” elaborates the Wolves defensive back. “I want to and then go far as God will allow me in football because this is my life and for my career.”

“It’s clear that it will be related to football.”

For CEGEP, he is considering one school.

“I’m considering going to Vanier College because it’s an English school and I really like the team spirit,” says Jeremie.

As for where he would like to play, Jeremie has already taken a shine to Laval Rouge et Or.

“I’d choose University of Laval because I like their energy and the legacy they have and I’m from Laval,” offers the Wolves standout.

Jeremie is looking forward to the recruitment process in the next couple of years.

“I’m just excited to see what future have for me,” adds the defensive back.

Ultimately, Jeremie has learned from the game the recipe for success in all his gridiron and life endeavours.

“Never stop running in everything you doing because once you stop running, you get burned so if you are always running, nothing will speed you up.”
