Vancouver pivot to script next gridiron chapter in Ontario

One official visit later and Darius Lameire’s decision was made on where his gridiron future.

The 6’4, 225 pound quarterback from Vancouver, British Columbia will continue his gridiron career with the McMaster Marauders.Ā  Recently, Darius committed with the Marauders for the 2013 OUA season.

Ultimately, the combination of academics and football were the factors that sold the pivot on committing to the Hamilton, Ontario school.

“McMaster has a great football program and it’s combined with a great education,” explained Darius of his decision.Ā  “I really enjoyed meeting the coaches and I could see myself excelling as football player and a person under their guidance.”

“When I went on my recruiting trip I could see myself being a part of the football team and as a student at the university.”
