Varsity Blues coaches want players to succeed, says commit

Toronto adds GTA product to their Class of 2018.

When Adam Williams, a running back from Canada Prep Academy, looks at the University of Toronto Varsity Blues, he sees one thing in particular, a future.

“I feel like personally there’s a lot of opportunity for me to grow and develop as a player here,” Williams said. “(They have an) amazing coaching staff. Their number one goal for the university is to win and for their players to succeed on and off the field.”

The 6’2, 220lbs athlete will be taking kinesiology in university. “I’m taking it because working out and knowing the body is a big part of my life and I love it,” Williams said.

In his career, Williams, who is from Oshawa, Ontario, spent three years with the Oshawa Hawkeyes (OVFL), one with the Canada Prep Raiders and one with the Dunbartan High School Spartans (Lake Ontario Secondary School Athletics).

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
