On Sunday at McMaster Stadium, the Senior Varsity Ironmen defeated the Halton Cowboys 31-1, to improve to 5-0 this season. Replacement QB Zack Lascelle was impressive going 14-20 for 235 yds, and finding Andrew Schultz for 2 TD’s,and Jullian Hooker for the other. RB David Smith rushed for the only ground attack major.
The Defense was solid with Ventresca, Cornell, Fitzpatrick, Campbell, and Deucsendorf all tallying turnovers, while DE Matt Brady continually flushed the QB out of the pocket recording 2 solo sacks. The Ironmen will travel to Cambridge on July 1st to battle with the Cambridge Lions.
