The VMFL/VCFL season kicks off this weekend with games on all three days of the Labour Day long weekend beginning on Saturday.
Our spotlighted game this week takes place on Monday, September 5 at McLeod Athletic Park in Langley featuring last yearβs 12-man Bantam champions Langley Mustangs playing host to the South Delta Rams. Kickoff is at 12:45 pm PT.
The Bantam clash between the Mustangs and Rams is one of four games that McLeod Athletic Park is playing host to on Monday. Also on the schedule is a Flag contest between the Vancouver Trojans and Langley Bandits (10 am), an Atom Division clash between the Vancouver Trojans and Langley Colts (11 am) and finally a Midget Division battle between the Nanaimo Redmen and last yearβs top regular season team, the Langley Stampeders (2:45 pm).
