Warrior football returns: Coach McPhee announces coaching staff and recruits (videos)

WATERLOO, Ont. – The Warrior Football Program returns to OUA action after a self-imposed withdrawal from competition and a rebuilding of the team; during this period over 50 student-athletes have remained committed to the program participating in training, scrimmages with other OUA teams, and enhanced educational programs.

Through the commitment of the coaching staff supported by the department of athletics and University of Waterloo, the Warriors have enjoyed a strong recruiting class.

Head Coach Dennis McPhee, along with assistant coaches Marshall Bingeman, Joe Paopao, Kani Kauhai, Dr. Tony Chris, John Sullivan, Jason Lemarr, Adam Lane and recruiting co-ordinator Mark Chernenko are looking forward to working with this exciting crop of young men.

“I’m very proud of our coaching staff and the efforts over and above the call of duty led by Coach Chernenko to restock the roster with the quality student-athletes that we have coming in,” mentioned coach McPhee.

“Our entire staff is excited to hit the field this August with a great mix of returning players and solid recruits to move the program forward in the 2011 season.”
