Warrior JV team defeats Crimson Tide

In Junior Varsity action, the Mississauga Warriors defeated the Georgetown Crimson Tide in the
Ontario Varsity Football League. Both teams spread the ball around to a variety of different offensive weapons but the Warriors proved too much for the visiting Tide.

On the very first play of the contest the Warriors mishandled the opening kick off and the Tide recovered the football at the Warrior one yard line. The first offensive play saw the Warriors stop the Tide from running the ball into the end zone. The second play the Warriors intercepted the football but it was nullified by a defensive offside penalty. After an unsuccessful third play the Tide attempted a Field Goal but was unsuccessful when the snap was not handled cleanly. The momentum quickly turned afterwards and the Warriors never looked back winning the game handily with a 49 to 13 score.
