Waterloo state of mind

Burlington kicker recently joins OUA team’s 2014 class.

Terrance Giangregario will be playing CIS football in his home province.

However, he will be moving cities.  The 5’11, 170 pound kicker from Burlington, Ontario recently committed to the Waterloo Warriors.  Giangregario will join the team for the 2014 OUA season.

“I committed to Waterloo for a few reasons,” said Giangregario.  “The football program itself seems very family oriented, as in everyone knows each other.”

“On the academic side, Waterloo is a very prestigious school and their coop program is fantastic.  I’m privileged to be able to play for them and I am excited for the upcoming spring camp and season.”

This past November, Giangregario led the Assumption Crusaders of the Halton Secondary School Athletic Association (HSSAA) to their first Halton Tier 1 Championship since 2005. However, the team came up short against the Cardinal Newman Cardinals in the Golden Horseshoe Athletic Conference (GHAC) title game.

Not only is he a kicker, but Giangregario has also played at the receiver position.
