Western kicks off 2020 commitments with three recruits

The perennial powerhouse Western Mustangs have recruited three players to their program for 2020.

Scott Nichols (6’3, 200 lbs) — Running Back from London South Collegiate Institute (London, ON)

Nichols is a local player from London South Collegiate Institute and an extreme threat out of the backfield. The London native is a well-rounded athlete and playmaker, also capable of playing linebacker, but is listed as a running back recruit. He runs an admirable 4.68 40-yard dash.

Jordan Mussa (6’3, 310 lbs) — Offensive Lineman from IMG Academy (Bradenton, Florida)

Originally from Halifax, NS., the towering offensive lineman is returning to home soil after attending IMG Academy, a preparatory boarding school and sports training destination. He’s the first official 2020 commit to Western’s highly-touted program.

Josh Gillam (5’11, 198 lbs) — Linebacker and Defensive Back from London South Collegiate Institute (London, ON)

Gillam is another product of London South Collegiate Institute and will join teammate Nichols in Western’s strong 2020 recruiting class. The Mustangs will be getting a refined defensive stalworth with multi-position capabilities, something any team would be lucky to have.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
